Dragon's blood is a plant latex that flows from the trunk of the Croton lechleri tree, native to the Peruvian Amazon. It forms part of the traditional knowledge passed down by Amazonian communities as part of ancestral practice around natural care.
It comes from the copaiba tree (Copaifera), a wild-growing Amazonian species. Widely sold as copaiba oil, it is botanically an oleoresin, and forms part of the traditional knowledge of the Amazon forest.
The source community holds a harvesting permit issued by Peru's forest authority (SERFOR); documentation is available on request.
